Political novel of alternative history. The aspect of poetics and genealogical perspectives.

Abstract

A geologically alternative history was formed based on the matrix of a historical novel (according to N. Kopystyanskaya - even an English historiographic novel) and formal markers and architectonic "puzzles" of a science fiction novel. In the historical and literary key of timeliness, the first factual examples of the story of alternative history relate to the beginning of the twentieth century in the USA, Canada, and Western Europe and distributed in the literature of the Slavic world in the middle of the twentieth century, being actualized in Russian and Far Eastern literature in the 70s of the twentieth century. In the second decade of the 21st century, historical alternative studies in fiction appeared and gained demand in the middle literature of Australia and Oceania. The aim of the study. The study is devoted to the functioning of the subgenre of the political novel of alternative history in fiction in general and within the meta-genre of alternative history. The article aims to determine the identity and genological character of the subgenre, and its stylistic features, which form a special set of markers of recognition, which forms the novelty of the study since such a study is conducted for the first time.
