Steatohepatitis is one of the leading forms of chronic liver disease, characterized by fat accumulation in hepatocytes and the development of inflammation. This disease can occur due to various etiological factors, including alcoholism, metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), metabolic disorders, obesity and other factors.
