Abstract

The book, in the context of humanitarian interdisciplinarity, a combination of historical, philosophical, political, sociological, ethnopolitical and cultural methods of cognition, examines in the format of scientific and journalistic essays the peculiarities of the Russian ethnic group, its mentality, and culture. It is proved on the basis of historical facts that it has no relation to the commonality with the Ukrainian people. The stages of the formation of the Russian state are considered, the formation of an authoritarian regime here, the Asian mode of production and the further development of this system into a totalitarian one with the coming to power of the Bolsheviks. Much attention is paid to V. Putin – his psychological portrait is revealed, the reasons and features that led to a special political system – Putinism. The book also pays great attention to the Ukrainian looking‑g lass, which is limited to 33 years of independence. It is about the peculiarity and importance of the first vector step that we take in our lives and the further fate after this step. This first step was taken by the former party worker L. Kravchuk, which in principle differed from the step that V. Chornovil proposed. As a result, this led to oligarchization, which flourished under L. Kuchma. The author also focused on the features of the presidential rule of the President of Ukraine V. Zelensky, on the indirect role in his rise to power in the postmodern era.
