Abstract: | The textbook outlines the fundamentals of emergency conditions most frequently encountered in internal medicine. Special attention is given to modern approaches to providing emergency care for patients with hypertensive crises, sudden cardiac arrest, acute left ventricular failure, respiratory distress manifestations, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. Each section includes brief theoretical information, algorithms of emergency care, and practical recommendations for clinical decision-making. The content is based on up-to-date clinical guidelines and evidence-based medicine principles. The textbook is designed for independent work of students in higher medical education institutions and may be used during practical classes, simulations, and preparation for licensing examinations. It will also be useful for interns, general practitioners, and emergency medicine physicians as a quick reference guide in urgent clinical situations. |
