The history of studying the issue of epidemiology of mental and behavioral disorders among adolescents of chernivtsi region

Abstract

У статті висвітлено історію дослідження проблеми епідеміології психічних і поведінкових розладів серед підлітків Чернівецької області. Проаналізовано динаміку поширеності та захворюваності за 2002–2006 роки на основі статистичних матеріалів психіатричної служби регіону. Охарактеризовано структуру непсихотичних і психотичних розладів, а також поведінкових порушень серед підліткового контингенту. Визначено тенденцію до зростання частоти розладів психіки та поведінки, що пов’язується із соціально-економічними змінами, явищами соціальної депривації та впливом стресових чинників. Отримані результати мають значення для вдосконалення профілактичних заходів і організації психіатричної допомоги підліткам регіону. The article highlights the history of studying the epidemiology of mental and behavioral disorders among adolescents in the Chernivtsi region. The dynamics of prevalence and incidence rates for 2002–2006 were analyzed based on statistical data from regional psychiatric services. The structure of non-psychotic and psychotic mental disorders, as well as behavioral disorders among adolescents, was examined. The study identifies a tendency toward an increase in mental and behavioral disorders, which is associated with socio-economic transformations, social deprivation, and stress factors. The findings are important for improving preventive strategies and optimizing the organization of psychiatric care for adolescents at the regional level.
