Abstract

At present, there is a lack of consensus regarding the existence of drugs with proven nephroprotective clinical efficacy in pharmacotherapeutic practice. Consequently, the dilemma previously outlined by Hebert L. A. et al. (2001) – whether to utilize a single proven renoprotective method or to incorporate potential nephroprotective drugs into therapy – remains pertinent to this day (Molinari L. et al., 2020).
