The effect of the Wobenzym medication on the state of the hemostasis has been studied in 31 patients with peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum aged from 60 to 82 years. It has been established that the administration of Wobenzym to patients of elderly and senile age with duodenal and gastric peptic ulcer and concomitant diseases of the hepatobiliary system against a back¬ground of differentiated basic therapy facilitates to creating an equilibrium between the coagulating and anticoagulating blood systems; an elevation of the enzymatic fibrinolytic activity; effective functioning оf the Hageman-dependent link of fibrinolysis against a background of increased activity of plasminogen activators and antiplasmin production; the elimination of chronic intravascular blood coagulation syndrome manifestations. More ponderable results are obtained when Wobenzym and Erbisol are administered simultaneously.
