dc.description.abstract	The authors have carried out an analysis of postoperative complications with surgical treatment of different stages of benign hyperplasia of the prostate by means of the method of its transurethral resection. Specific postoperative sequelae for each stage of benign hyperplasia of the prostate have been demon strated. Measures of preventing complications of transurethral resection have been developed both in the process of surgical interference and during the postoperative period. The effective method of 2 days perioperative prophylaxis of infectious complications is offered TUR of prostate with the use of levofloxacin (Leflocin, «URIA-FARM», Ukraine) in standard dosages — 500 mgs once per a day intravenously.	ru_RU
