Abstract

The authors have carried out a review of modern literature concerning ethiology, classification, clinical picture, diagnostics and treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). New views of erection physiology have been ascertained. Pathophysiological and pathoanatomical specific characteristics of the ED development have been presented. Modern methods of both conservative and surgical treatments of ED have been analyzed and generalized.
