The aim of the study is to highlight the scientific and practical experience of cooperation among the Department of Armed Forces Medical Support of the UMMA and the Department of disaster medicine and military medicine of the BSMU, which has been going on for the third decade.
Conclusions. 1. The cooperation between UMMA and BSMU, which has been going on for the third decade, is a successful example of the integration of civilian and military medical education. Its relevance and expediency are due to the gradual transformation of the medical support system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into technologies and medical-technological documents that are functionally compatible with NATO medical support standards. 2. The adaptation of military medical terminology and new requirements for the development of command and staff documents, in particular the transition to new operational graphic symbols and symbols in accordance with NATO standards, is one of the urgent and difficult issues of compatibility with NATO standards. Its solution is a priority in the development and improvement of educational programs and teaching methods in military and military medical disciplines for single-profile departments of all higher medical institutions. 3. The joint participation of scientific and pedagogical staff of UMMA and BSMU in the development and publication of scientific and educational materials on topical issues of military medicine provides an objective and professional understanding and contributes to the optimization and improvement of the educational process.
