У статті розглянуто сучасний стан досліджень та підходів до діагностики та лікування цього явища, наведено аналіз літературних даних про фактори ризику виникнення переношеної вагітності, особливості перебігу вагітності та пологів, ускладнення під час перебігу пологів, оцінка стану новонароджених.
