According to WHO experts, the prevalence of periodontal tissue diseases reaches 98%. Among the most common dental diseases, periodontitis is one of the most common. Therefore, the tendency to progress, its diverse effects on the body, as well as frequent relapses make this pathological condition one of the most pressing problems of modern dentistry.
