Abstract:
The article deals with the place of the lecture as a mode of instruction in undergraduate medical education. In article discussed type and functions of lectures, its advantages and disadvantages. The author points out the importance of clinical lectures is an effective
way in the formation of critical thinking, aimed to the formation of professional identity and
positions, promotes a thoughtful attitude to professional training, bringing up of ethical and deontological principles.
