Корекція порушень обміну вуглеводно-білкових компонентів сполучної тканини препаратом "Вобензим" при виразковій хворобі із супутнім ураженням гепатобіліарної системи у хворих похилого та старечого віку

Abstract

Investigations were carried out on 24 patients of middle and old age with peptic ulcer accompanied by lesions of the hepatobiliary system. A positive effect of "Wobenzym®" on the state of the connective tissue was established. It was confirmed by an increase of the protein-bound oxyprolin and fucose content, the concentration of hexuronic acids and hexosamins in the blood and urinary excretion of hexuronic acids. Taking into account the results of the investigations, it is advisable to include "Wobenzym®" in the treatment of elderly and senile patients with peptic ulcer accompanied by lesions of the hepatobiliary system.
