Abstract

The relevance of the problem of English-language discourse in the paradigm of humanitarian knowledge is related to the transformation of the scientific picture of the world and reorientation to synergistic approaches. The English language, having a global status in the international scientific dimension, in addition to the usual translational and communicative functions, forms a conceptual understanding of science in general and its humanitarian cluster in particular. The purpose of the article is to highlight the specifics of using the English language in the context of humanitarian and scientific discourse. Conclusions. Therefore, the English-language discourse is actively developing in the scientific space, successfully performing traditional informational and communicative functions. In addition, the English-language element is an important element in the construction of a conceptual vision of the development of humanitarian knowledge in the modern scientific paradigm.
