Abstract

Abstract: The article is devoted to the investigation of cultural and educational studies of M. Hrushevsky. These researches are unique in their philosophical insights in ethnographic problems finding the origins of folk customs, understanding the processes of spiritual culture of the Ukrainian public. The study of calendar rites describes conceptual approach of M. Hrushevsky remained unchanged. The family as the center of society limit, which develops the material and spiritual religious meaning of life. Agricultural calendar according to scientists, is the core of Ukrainian ritual calendar which is held on the main points of the movement of the sun and the related annual and fall of earthly life.
