Abstract: The existence and nature of dependency between the number of calls for emergency medical assistance for patientes with broncho-obstructive diseases and the complex of meteorological factors in spring and autumn months in the city of Chernivtsi were retrospectively studied. The study found that the dependence of requests for emergency medical care on the type of medical-meteorological situation is complex and multifactorial. It found the prevalence of hypoxic type of medical meteorological situation in the days with meteo-pathogenic types of weather and to high number of requests for emergency medical help for patientes with obstructive diseases of the respiratory system. The dependence of the number of requests for emergency medical care for patients with obstructive diseases of the respiratory system on a weather with low partial content of oxygen in atmosphere manifests a direct immediate nature, as well as reveals a belated reaction depending on the age of patients and accompanying complex meteorological factors. The complex effects of environmental factors on the health of residents of Chernivtsi-city requires further thorough mathematical and statistical analysis in order to develop accurate medical forecasts and methods of preventing meteopatic reactions.
